The tenor has performed opera, oratorio, concert, and recital at venues ranging from Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully and Avery Fisher Halls, Lincoln Center, The Kennedy Center, San Francisco’s War Memorial Opera House, Aldeburgh, England’s The Red House, Moscow’s International House of Music and Saint Petersburg, Russia’s Rimsky-Korsakov Museum, Shenyang’s Grande Theatre, and Beijing’s Forbidden City Concert Hall, to Vienna’s Stephansdom.
A frequent interpreter of the music of Benjamin Britten, Vickers’s repertoire spans five centuries, and hears the additions of new works routinely.
Upcoming engagements include concert and recital tours of England, Canada, Portugal, France, and the United States.
